**Top 3 responsibilities: **

Develop and execute test plans for mainframe applications (COBOL/JCL/DB2/CICS).

Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for CICS transactions and batch jobs (JCL) with debugging.

Conduct API/Web Services testing and backend testing (run SQL queries), including defect identification/documentation/tracking and collaboration to resolve issues.

Must-have skills:

Hands-on mainframe testing: COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS.

SQL-based backend testing.

API/Web Services testing plus experience with Selenium/TestNG/Cucumber.

- Job Summary
- This position provides input, support, and performs full systems life cycle management activities (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.). He/She participates in component and data architecture design, technology planning, and testing for Applications Development (AD) initiatives to meet business requirements. This position provides input to applications development project plans and integrations. He/She collaborates with teams and supports emerging technologies to ensure effective communication and achievement of objectives. This position provides knowledge and support for applications development, integration, and maintenance. He/She provides input to department and project teams on decisions supporting projects.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute test plans for mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS.

Identify, document, and track defects using standard testing tools.

Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.

Must be able to test and debug batch jobs (JCL).

Must be able to perform backend testing by executing SQL queries.

Expertise in APIs & Web Services testing

Hands-on experience in Selenium,TestNG and Cucumber frameworks
