Senior Test Architect – Quality Engineering Melbourne | Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite | Contract

CloudMarc is looking for an experienced Senior Test Architect to provide technical Quality Engineering leadership across a complex enterprise environment.

This is a senior, hands-on role responsible for defining test architecture, automation strategy and engineering standards across multiple squads and vendor teams.

We’re looking for someone who can operate at an architectural level while remaining technically strong across Playwright, TypeScript, API automation, Salesforce and CI/CD.

Key Responsibilities Define and govern enterprise test architecture and Quality Engineering strategy Lead QE practices across multiple agile squads and vendor teams Design and optimise Playwright/TypeScript automation frameworks Drive API, UI, integration and end-to-end automation Establish automation engineering standards and conduct code reviews Embed automated testing and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines Define risk-based testing strategies across complex integrated platforms Partner with Architecture, Development, DevOps, Product and Platform teams Improve automation efficiency, scalability and maintainability Provide technical leadership, coaching and mentoring to QEs and Test Leads Drive quality throughout the SDLC, from requirements through to production
