We are looking for talented, driven individuals in Quito, Ecuador, to join our team. The right candidate would have an aptitude for software development and the attitude to jump in and learn a new platform. Deft would be providing training, coaching, and mentoring to support your growth.

Estimates testing levels of effort for requirements
Determines testing approach for break/fix and enhancement requests
Develops test plans, scenarios, procedures, test cases, and RTMs
Meets with the Business Analysis and internal business members to determine testing parameters
Executes detailed tests and test scripts
Documents test results
Work with the software development team to determine and resolve issues
Automates tests as needed in testing tools to support automation, 508 compliance, and performance testing
Supports UAT prep efforts in conjunction with business owners/users
Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing with customers, clients, vendors, and internal staff
Identifies and communicates risks in the testing process across all products and test frameworks.

Fluent in professional and technical English, both oral and written
BS in Computer Science or related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Information Technology as a Software QA/Tester
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
Proficient with JIRA
Demonstrated abilities as a driven, self-starter, and quick study

Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or business administration
Experience with BPM platforms
Experience testing Microsoft Power Apps applications
Comfortable with Agile development practices
Agile Certification preferred
Able to multitask and shift priorities as needed
Work effectively with numerous stakeholder types and bring a group to consensus
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially in a client interaction context
Experience with developing and maintaining automated test scripts using test automation tools and frameworks
