Role & seniority: Test Engineer (hands-on, mid-level)
Location & work type: Amsterdam, Netherlands; full-time with international travel
SITL and other simulation software; end-to-end testing, integration testing, field validation
UAV/uncrewed systems (ArduPilot, PX4 or similar)
Windows and Linux, containerized deployments, basic networking, telemetry/flight-control systems
Collaboration across software, validation, and hardware teams; QA/validation processes
Prepare, configure, troubleshoot, and deploy Intelic software on unmanned platforms; execute and maintain end-to-end, integration, and acceptance tests
Validate performance and safety via SITL, real-world field trials, and stress tests (e.g., GPS spoofing, comms loss)
Monitor missions, diagnose issues in real time, document results, and support post-test reporting and QA process improvements
Proven QA/field-testing or integration engineering experience; strong troubleshooting across embedded systems, networking, and protocols
Proficiency with Windows/Linux, containerization, and telemetry/flight-control systems
Experience with UAVs/uncrewed systems; ability to plan/execute structured test campaigns with solid documentation
Excellent technical writing; ability to work in fast-changing environments; willingness to travel internationally

You are the vital link between development and forward-deployment, validating that our software performs as expected in real-world conditions. Your mission is to bridge software, hardware, and the end-user experience. You will define, execute, and document structured tests—from simulation-based integration to full mission validation—providing valuable insights to the product development process.
