Stack/tools: Air regulations and permitting frameworks (PSD, Title V, GHG, NSPS, NESHAP); air compliance reporting programs; document/data management; Microsoft Office Suite; valid driver’s license
Prepare and oversee air quality permit applications (PSD, Title V)
Review state/federal/local regulations for applicability and compliance impacts; stay current on new regulations
Provide compliance assistance to clients (data management, document review, compliance tools); engage with clients across industries and locations; travel to facilities as needed
BS in Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or related field
10+ years of relevant experience
Knowledge of California and federal environmental regs (Title V, PSD, GHG, NSPS, NESHAP, RMP)
Experience with air compliance and permitting; reporting programs (air emissions inventory, annual/semi-annual reports, certifications)
Understanding of industrial operations and combustion equipment

Final agreed upon compensation will be commensurate with individual education, professional designation, experience, internal parity, and location. • Full-time, permanent role with opportunities for professional growth and advancement Responsibilities: • Prepare and oversee the preparations of air quality permit applications, including PSD and Title V • Review state, federal, and local regulations for applicability determinations and compliance tasking, keeping up with the development of new regulations and potential impacts to clients • Provide compliance assistance for clients including data management, document review, and development of compliance tools • Work with clients from a variety of industries in various locations inside and outside of the United States • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the region • Travel to clients’ facilities for inspections and document review • Work within quality/budget/schedule expectations and scope-specific assignments Qualifications/Education/Memberships: • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or related scientific field • 10+ years of related work experience • Knowledge of California and federal environmental regulations, such as Title V, PSD, GHG Reporting, NSPS, NESHAP, RMP • Experience with air compliance and permitting • Experience with reporting programs such as air emissions inventory, greenhouse gases, annual/semi-annual air permit reports, annual air compliance certifications, monthly air permit reports • Understanding of industrial operations and combustion equipment • Strong written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of software • Possess valid driver’s license • Willing to travel by airplane and car, including overnight travel Preferred Skills & Experience: • Experience with oil and gas, power generation, mining, or ports • Experience with technical writing • Previous consulting or industry experience Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) are at the core of who we are and want to be.
