WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR DAY-TO-DAY?

Main Tasks

Develop, maintain and contribute to test strategies and planning; Contribute to and apply test processes, procedures and documentation; Contribute to and review technical specifications, requirements and develop test acceptance criteria and other test deliverables; Perform, control and monitor testing activities on technical products; Ensure proper defect management; Report problems or failures leading to suggestions to improve or perfect the technical products; Report progress of testing activities to several stakeholders; Use/develop test tools and perform test automation activities; Interact with project teams and other stakeholders in the framework of the tests organization and other activities.

Additional Tasks

Define the scope of testing within the context of each product and release by collaborating with Test Engineers, defining test approaches and reviewing and writing test scenarios. Planning test activities, follow up on progress and approach by ensuring priority alignment inside the team, driving alignment with the involved parties in setting up the environments and tools. Prepare assessment of the product quality by reviewing requirements, design documentation, creating the test scenarios, test cases and test data including automation of the test cases. Run assessment of the product quality by running tests and reporting on the outcome. Continuously assess and look for ways to improve the quality of the product including requirements review and improvement to the testing approach. Leverage test analysis and test automation patterns to ensure requirement coverage, fast and reliable test execution..

Requirements

Education: Minimum 4 years of relevant education (master or equivalent) after the secondary school.

Experience

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant IT professional experience and
  • Minimum 4 years of testing experience.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills

  • International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Foundation

Level certification;

ITIL/ITIL V3 Foundation certification; Solid understanding of testing practices; Good experience with different Operating Systems, with emphasis on Unix

variants, RDBMS and networking concepts, containers and virtual

environments;

Knowledge of (automated) testing tools, like qTest, TOSCA, JMeter and JIRA

etc.;

Must demonstrate an understanding of complex high-availability IT systems

and IT architectures;

Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, diverse projects

simultaneously;

Must be flexible, independent and self-motivated; Punctual, regular and consistent attendance; Good reporting methods; Understanding of project management and support issues including

managing risks issues quality and actions logs;

Strong cross-group collaboration abilities and client oriented (support); Excellent problem solving, debugging/troubleshooting technical skills

Minimum 7 years of relevant experience for the nature of tasks.
