About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright to design, develop, and maintain automated tests across web applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building robust automation frameworks, collaborating closely with development teams, and ensuring high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript). Build and enhance automation frameworks for UI, API, and end-to-end testing. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI). Analyze test failures, troubleshoot issues, and provide detailed defect reports. Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to define test strategy and ensure test coverage. Perform functional, regression, smoke, and cross-browser testing. Ensure test reliability, stability, and maintainability. Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and reviews in an Agile/Scrum environment. Contribute to QA best practices, standards, and process improvements.
Required Skills & Experience
2–6+ years of experience in Test Automation. Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for automation. Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
