Role & seniority: Senior Quality Assurance Test Engineer (database-focused)
Stack/tools: QA methodologies, automation tooling, SQL; familiarity with scripting languages (JavaScript or Python) a bonus; emphasis on anonymized/synthetic test data and continuous database monitoring
Develop and implement comprehensive QA process guidelines, documentation, and training

Your challenge
As a Senior Quality Assurance Test Engineer specializing in databases, you ensure the quality, integrity, and performance of our supply chain solutions. You develop QA process guidelines, drive automation, and take ownership of advanced database testing within a global, fast-paced, and collaborative team.
You Are Responsible For
Developing and implementing comprehensive QA process guidelines, documentation, and training. Developing and executing automation scripts for database, load, and regression testing Tracking bugs and documenting actions while ensuring clear communication, root cause analysis, and driving continuous improvement Writing and optimizing SQL queries to validate data integrity and performance. Testing databases against design and performance requirements. Applying best practices such as anonymized/synthetic test data and continuous database monitoring.
Your team
As our new Senior QA Test Engineer, you’ll be part of our large, international QA team across Belgium (Antwerp, Ghent, Wavre), Spain (Barcelona), Ukraine (Lviv), India (Mumbai), and the US (Atlanta). QA at OMP identifies and solves weak spots in our software through systematic analysis, thorough testing, and end-to-end quality oversight.
About You
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. At least 6 years’ experience in software testing, including test methodologies, tools, and processes and at least 2 years’ experience in automation testing, particularly for databases. A solid IT and technical background. A passion for improving software quality. Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow procedures and maintain an overview under pressure. Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and resilience to time constraints.
Bonus Points If You Have
Experience with scripting languages (e.g. JavaScript or Python). The ability to work independently and proactively improve testing efficiency. Certifications such as ISTQB Advanced or PMP. Experience in supply chains
