Role & seniority: QA Engineer – Automation (mid-level; 3+ years in QA automation)

Design and develop automated test scripts and maintain test automation frameworks aligned with CI/CD
Collaborate with development teams to define testing strategies and verify defect resolution
Monitor test execution, report quality metrics, and participate in code reviews to improve software quality
3+ years in QA automation testing
Experience with automation tools/frameworks
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.)
API and web services testing concepts
Understanding of SDLC/testing methodologies

As a QA Engineer - Automation at BairesDev, you will design and implement automated testing solutions to ensure software quality and reliability. You'll leverage your experience to develop robust test frameworks, create and maintain test scripts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing processes and identify potential issues before they reach production.
What You'll Do
Design and develop automated test scripts using appropriate testing frameworks and tools. Create and maintain test automation frameworks to support continuous integration and delivery processes. Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and build effective testing strategies. Identify, analyze, and document software defects and verify their resolution. Monitor and report on test execution results and quality metrics. Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to improve overall software quality.
What We Are Looking For
3+ years of experience in QA automation testing. Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks. Knowledge of at least one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.). Familiarity with API testing and web services testing concepts. Understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies. Experience with version control systems, preferably Git. Advanced level of English.
