Project Role: Quality Engineer (Tester)

Project Role Description: Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary: As a Quality Engineer, you will enable full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Your typical day will involve performing continuous testing for security, API, and regression suites, creating automation strategies, and supporting data and environment configurations. You will also participate in code reviews and monitor defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process, ensuring that the highest quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer with 3–6 years of experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with modern automation tools and frameworks, a strong understanding of software testing principles, and the ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium or similar. - Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA team members to understand requirements and ensure test coverage. - Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. - Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues. - Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks. - Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes. - Ensure traceability of test cases to requirements and maintain test documentation. - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Develop and maintain automated test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues early in the development process. Professional & Technical Skills: - 3–6 years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation. - Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium. - Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#. - Experience with test management tools like JIRA. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins. - Good understanding of REST APIs and experience with API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured. - Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium. - Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and methodologies. - Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools. - Familiarity with API testing tools and techniques. - Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets to inform testing strategies.
