Job Overview
As an experienced embedded software test engineer, you will contribute to the work of a SW test team on an exciting new range of Arm hardware devices aimed at AI use cases, applying deep technical expertise to ensure high performance, reliability and maintainability. You will collaborate with software development teams to define, develop and automate tests for their components as well as the integrated solution.
This team is part of the wider software group in Arm. Our mission is to ensure successful deployment of the Arm architecture into key software ecosystems.

Your Day-to-day Activities Will Include
Lead and mentor a distributed team of test engineers. Design and optimise CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and related tools. Automate testing and validation for Linux-based embedded platforms. Collaborate with development teams to diagnose issues and improve software quality.
Proven leadership in software testing or QA for embedded systems. Strong Linux, scripting (Python, shell), and CI/CD (GitLab) expertise. Experience with system validation, debugging, and automation frameworks. Analytical mindset with focus on continuous improvement and quality metrics.
Hands-on experience with embedded Linux internals, boot flow, and system bring-up. Familiarity with integrating hardware or simulators into CI pipelines. Knowledge of embedded build systems such as Yocto, Buildroot, or CMake. Interest or involvement in open-source development.
