YOUR NEW ROLE CODE LEAP

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our expert team in Ho Chi Minh City. This role focuses on both manual and automated testing, with particular emphasis on mobile applications (native apps and web apps). The ideal candidate will bring practical testing experience, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset to ensure product quality. You will work closely with developers and the product team to identify issues early and maintain high testing standards.

YOUR EXCITING TASKS

Perform manual testing across mobile (native app) and web app, simulating various user scenarios to ensure comprehensive functionality and stability Work closely with developers and product team to test new features and ensure quality throughout the development process Perform exploratory testing to uncover hidden issues and edge cases Develop and maintain automated test suites for mobile and web applications, focusing on critical user journeys and regression scenarios Test individual components and end-to-end workflows to validate expected behavior across different devices and browsers Work closely with developers to integrate testing into the development cycle and ensure defects are identified and resolved efficiently Log, track, and prioritize defects using tools like Jira, providing clear reproduction steps and analysis Maintain and update test documentation, test cases, and test data sets to ensure consistency and repeatability Contribute to the improvement of QA processes, including test strategy, coverage analysis, and testing efficiency

YOUR PROFILE AND YOUR PERSONALITY

Key Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in software testing (both manual and automation) Strong hands-on experience and focus on test automation frameworks and tools Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test integration Experience with API testing Solid experience in manual testing with a keen eye for detail and user experience Experience testing mobile and web applications Familiarity with defect tracking tools and test management processes You understand and know how to prioritize your tasks with a problem-solving mindset You don't take things personally and are comfortable with ambiguity and rapid changes common in early-stage product development You don't wait for others to tell you what you need to do but proactively reach out to people, communicate, ask for help, and get things done You feel comfortable communicating in the English language

Nice to Have

Experience with mobile automation testing using Appium or similar frameworks Experience with web automation testing using Playwright or similar frameworks Experience testing across multiple platforms (iOS/Android/Web)
