Role & seniority: QA Tester / QA Analyst (mid-level) in AML/RegTech domain
Stack/tools: Manual testing; STLC/SDLC; test case creation/execution; defect tracking (JIRA); basic SQL; web-based applications
Understand AML concepts, transaction monitoring workflows, and regulatory requirements; review BRD/functional specs and AML rule logic
Prepare and execute manual test cases for AML scenarios (alerts, threshold breaches, rule-based/scenario-based alerts, customer risk profiling)
Perform functional, smoke/sanity, regression, and data validation testing; validate source vs target data; verify alert/escalation/closure workflows; log/retest defects
Strong foundation in manual testing; STLC/SDLC knowledge
Experience in test case creation/execution and defect lifecycle management
Basic SQL for data validation; testing of web-based applications
Familiarity with AML concepts and basic stock market knowledge; basic JIRA usage
Deeper AML domain experience; experience with AML reports, dashboards, and audit logs
Prior exposure to regulatory/compliance testing
