We’re searching for a Staff NPI Test Engineer. The primary objective of this role is to support manufacturing from a test and automation perspective in the production of the Aurora’s HW and delivering the benefits of self-driving technology safely, quickly, and broadly. A successful candidate is data-driven, excels at complex problem solving, has a strong engineering background with software and hardware skills, product focused mindset, and can lead cross-functional efforts. In this role you will Support and debug software tools used in manufacturing tests and provisioning. Closely collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to harden and optimize automated manufacturing test procedures. Data management and analysis to track production test performance metrics, prioritize top issues, and drive continuous improvement activities with cross-functional teams. Provides technical test support to all local manufacturing areas, locations, and customers as needed. Required Qualifications
B. S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
M. S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering (with mechatronics experience), a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
