Job Summary
We’re looking for a Lead QA Engineer to drive quality assurance efforts at Vehlo Dealership. You’ll build and lead QA processes for manual and automated testing, implement test automation frameworks, and promote test-driven development. This role involves mentoring QA engineers, collaborating with engineering teams, and providing strategic QA insights to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive all aspects of Quality Assurance from both a technical and quality focused perspective.
- Build QA processes from the ground up for both manual and automation testing efforts
- Lead Vehlo Dealership’s efforts on test automation including implementing tools, frameworks, and methodologies that should be used.
- Lead and advocate towards a high-quality test-driven development style that will allow us to create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases & test plans.
- Participate and drive all aspects of automated testing including but not limited to design, development, and execution of automation scripts.
- Write, validate, and execute manual and automation test cases.
- Debug and isolate production defects
- Contribute to team sprint planning, estimation, & retrospective meetings
- Provide insight to Sr. Leadership on QA tools and process improvements that will help scale Vehlo
- Lead and collaborate on company wide QA initiatives.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant experience. 5+ years of professional software QA development experience. Expertise with relevant testing frameworks for back-end, front-end, and mobile. Hands-on experience with automated testing tools like Playwright and Puppeteer. Experience working with all aspects of SaaS testing, including API, integration, database, security, visual, performance, and load testing. Experience hiring, coaching, and mentoring other QA engineers. Experience defining and driving a holistic view of quality assurance. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Self-starter who can work in a complex product environment and drive toward impactful solution. Must be willing to work US time zone hours
