Role & seniority: Software Test Engineer (mid-level) with at least 2+ years of practical IT/testing experience
Stack/tools: general software testing methods, procedures, and tools; familiarity with testing tools such as Tosca and Selenium (nice to have)
Create test bases, clarify requirements, and identify quality risks
Create, execute, and document test cases; track and help resolve defects with the dev team
Support stakeholders on software quality/testing matters; assist in test planning and status reporting; train new team members
IT degree (higher education)
2+ years in IT projects, focused on software testing
Proficiency with standard test methodologies and tools
German language at C1, English at least B1 (spoken and written)
Experience with Tosca or Selenium (or similar tools)
ISTQB certification

YOUR ROLE
Creating test bases: Identifying quality risks and clarifying requirements using requirements engineering tools to ensure effective preparation of test phases.
Test execution: Creating, running, and documenting test cases, collaborating with the development team to track and resolve defects.
Consulting and coordination: Supporting stakeholders in matters related to software quality and testing.
Test planning support: Contribute to the successful planning and coordination of testing tasks by providing estimates and status reports.
Training new team members: Support new colleagues by sharing your expertise, thereby contributing to the continuous improvement of testing tasks.
YOUR PROFILE
Education: Higher education degree in the field of information technology.
Software testing experience: At least two years of practical experience in IT projects, especially in the field of software testing.
Methodological knowledge: Confident use of general software testing methods, procedures, and tools.
Language skills: You have a confident command of German (C1 level) and communicate well in English (min. B1 level), both verbally and in writing.
Nice to have: Experience with at least one testing tool (e.g., Tosca, Selenium), ISTQB certification.
