The successful candidate must have an Electrical / Electronic / Automation Engineer’s degree or equivalent and must be willing to travel abroad.

Job Role

As a marine automation service engineer, you’ll be involved with the development, design, installation, repair, calibration,maintenance in projects involving IT and Marine Automation Systems both ashore and on vessels to electrical and electronic automation of ships.
The digitilization of the maritime sector ensures a constant development and growth of the marine automation market and a long career for the engineers participating in it.

Responsibilities

Duties include the installation, commissioning, after sales support of automation systems provided by our company.

Requirements

Qualifications Required

Bachelor of Electronic engineering / Automation engineering and Electrician with at least 2 years of experience in a similar position in the maritime industry
Fluency in Industrial Communication Protocols (MODBUS, HART, Profibus, Profinet)
Experience working on SCADA and PLCs
Strong knowledge of design, programming , manufacture and repair of electronic systems
Strong organizational, programming and tracking skills with the ability to multi-task effectively
Ability to work alone without diorect supervision or in teams.
Self-discipline to work unattended from home or onboard.
Excellent oral / written communication in English.
Ability to travel - domestic and international are prerequisites
Advanced computer skills
