Description
Metric5 is seeking a MuleSoft Quality Assurance Analyst to support the Department of the Treasury’s Enterprise Applications program. In this role, you will be responsible for validating the integrity, security, and performance of integrations between the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and PeopleSoft. You will lead automation efforts and system testing to ensure seamless data exchange for critical HR and payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities
Integration Testing (MuleSoft/PeopleSoft)
API & System Testing: Lead the configuration, testing, and implementation of HC system enhancements, specifically focusing on MuleSoft API endpoints and PeopleSoft data consumption.
Performance Testing: Execute load and stress testing to validate API scalability within high-throughput GovCloud environments
End-to-End Validation: Validate data interfaces between systems, ensuring that data extracted from PeopleSoft is correctly transformed by MuleSoft and received by target systems.
Data Integrity: Monitor data integrity to detect, resolve, and prevent errors in system data during the integration lifecycle.
Security Testing: Configure and test systems security to ensure APIs prevent unauthorized access to sensitive personnel information. Validate encryption-in-transit/at-rest and compliance with FedRAMP/FIPS security baselines
Automation & Troubleshooting
Test Automation: Develop and execute automated test scripts for APIs (using tools like MUnit, Postman, or Selenium) to ensure compliance validation and regression testing.
Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and fix issues and errors, including complex integration failures that require coordination with end users or external service providers.
Reporting: Develop and run reports to verify test results and system health metrics
Testing: Perform testing for API integrations and validating that PeopleSoft data is correctly processed.
Documentation
Deliver Testing Plans/Test Results/Status reports as requested/required
Required Skills
Experience with Federal Hiring or Personnel Actions Experience in Agile Experience with CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing
Testing Expertise: Extensive experience with application support and testing, specifically within integration environments.
MuleSoft Knowledge: Experience testing MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API-led connectivity, and the API lifecycle (Design, Develop, Manage).
PeopleSoft Expertise: Strong functional knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM (Human Capital Management), including experience with modules like Workforce Administration, Payroll, or Base Benefits.
Data Proficiency: Ability to read and write SQL to query PeopleSoft databases for analysis and validation.
Documentation: Proven ability to write clear test plans, test results, and other technical documentation.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to translate complex technical integration concepts into understandable language for non-technical stakeholders.
Education: Bachelors degree
Years of Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience
Clearance: Must be a United States citizen and must possess ability to pass a Public Trust Government background investigation
Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000 annually
