Role & seniority: System Test Analyst (mid-level) on a client team; occasional non-standard hours.

Develop metrics, statistics, and descriptive analysis to evaluate C2BMC system performance; validate hypotheses using test data.
Communicate key test findings, collaborate with development teams, and assist anomaly resolution.

Experience with an object-oriented language (e.g., Python, Java).

Participate in the development of metrics, statistics, and descriptive analysis to support the evaluation of C2BMC system performance. Conduct research and analysis to identify meaningful patterns and trends from test datasets, employing statistical methods to validate or reject hypotheses about the data. Employ techniques such as data visualization, simulation, and system modeling to achieve desired analysis results. Assist in developing straightforward solutions to technical problems discovered and create actionable insights for C2BMC test team and decision makers. Collaborate with the development team to communicate key test findings and assist with anomaly resolution. Aid in the development of new software tools and maintenance of existing toolset.
Experience with object-oriented coding language (i.e. Python, Java, ect..) Experience manipulating and working with large data sets. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or other STEM field from an accredited college.
Experience working in Linux environment. Strong background in Mathematics and Physics. Working knowledge of ballistic or non-ballistic missile defense concepts, Command and Control (C2) systems, defense communication systems, the Missile Defense System (MDS) in general, and Space Domain Awareness.
Candidate is expected to travel as needed (less than 10%) but the majority of work will be conducted at Schriever SFB. Some non-standard work hours are possible due to test event schedules.
DoD 8570 IAT Level-II certification (e.g. Sec+) required. Candidates without the required 8570 certification may be considered on this requisition and if selected, will have up to 60 days from the C2BMC Program Start Date to obtain the applicable certification to successfully fulfill the requirements of the position.
