Job Description - Manual Tester
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive UI Tester with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our QA team.
In this role, you will be responsible for testing the user interface of web and mobile applications to ensure an optimal and bug-free user experience.
You will collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to uphold high standards of usability and functionality.
Key Responsibilities
Execute manual UI tests for web and mobile applications. Validate layout, responsiveness, and functionality across different browsers and devices. Identify, document, and track UI/UX issues and bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar. Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure design specifications are implemented correctly. Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and provide testing feedback. Participate in test planning, design, and review sessions. Ensure consistency, accessibility, and user experience alignment across all platforms. Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated UI test scripts (optional if automation is involved).
Required Skills & Qualifications
2- 5 years of hands-on experience in UI testing for web and/or mobile applications. Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles. Experience in cross-browser and cross-device testing. Familiarity with browser developer tools for UI inspection and debugging. Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright is a plus. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies. ISTQB certification is a plus.
