Responsibilities
When a user tries new software, they expect it to be intuitive and run smoothly. Functionality, reliability, and user experience are key to successful software development—and that means rigorous testing. That’s why we need you, an experienced test engineer who knows how to thoroughly test software and work with developers to make sure our team releases the best software possible.
As a test engineer on our team, you’ll use your experience to work with engineers to evaluate software developed for our nation’s defense create a test plan with test cases based on user stories. Using automated and manual processes, you’ll generate data and implement the test cases to observe how the software performs, then document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the tool.
You’ll automate continuous security and performance testing and monitor the health of large data systems. This is an opportunity to supercharge your skills by writing the code to test. You’ll also broaden your experience in large scale systems and gain skills in new areas such as automation, cloud computing, and Splunk while sharing your testing experience with your team.

Qualifications
You Have
8+ years of experience as a test engineer developing or executing test scripts and analyzing results while performing system testing
Experience analyzing system requirements and concept of operations documents, acquisition plans, and system descriptions to develop evaluation and test plans and procedures.
Experience preparing for and conducting the data collection and analysis, and reporting status and results
Experience supporting the development of Government test and evaluation documentation e.g., Test & Evaluation (T&E) Strategy, Test & Evaluation Master Plan, Event Test Plans, Test Readiness Assessments, and T&E Reports.
Experience working with other test organizations to support T&E program integration.
Ability to provide specialized T&E capabilities tailored to system functions, level, maturity, and performance area
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, or Engineering Management and 8 + years of experience as a Test Engineer OR 12 years of experience as a Test Engineer in lieu of a bachelor's degree

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $150,143.26 /year in our lowest geographic market up to $190,000 /year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, sign-on payments, relocation, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of full paid medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
