Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Senior Automation QA / Lead QA Engineer experienced in Java, Selenium, and Appium automation frameworks, ideally from an OTT or streaming platform domain.
The candidate will be responsible for designing, enhancing, and maintaining automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality deliverables across web, mobile, and API platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and Appium. Automate test cases for Web, Android, iOS, and Smart TV applications. Enhance and optimize automation frameworks for scalability and maintainability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure full test coverage. Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.). Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices. Perform API automation testing using Rest Assured / Postman. Lead and mentor QA team members and contribute to framework-level improvements. Stay current with new automation tools, trends, and OTT testing technologies.
Required Skills
6-7 years of QA experience with 4+ years in automation using Java, Selenium, and Appium (mandatory). Strong Core Java skills (OOPs, Collections, Multithreading, Exception Handling). Experience with TestNG / JUnit, Maven/Gradle, Git, Jenkins/GitLab CI. Solid exposure to OTT / video streaming applications. API automation using Rest Assured or equivalent. Familiarity with BDD (Cucumber) frameworks. Knowledge of cloud-based test execution (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs). Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ownership-driven and eager to learn and adopt new technologies.

Education
