Role Description
We are currently looking for a motivated Penetration Tester for our IthacaLabs™ Team for full time employment in our Athens office. The successful candidate will be responsible required to perform ethical hacking exercises/penetration tests, red teaming, incident response and security audits. The position will report to the Head of the IthacaLabs™ team.
Main Responsibilities
Conduct penetration tests on web applications, mobile applications, APIs, cloud environments, and internal/external networks. Perform social engineering and physical security assessments. Conduct security configuration audits. Investigate, escalate and coordinate information security incidents. Document findings, provide detailed reports, and recommend mitigation strategies. Stay current with emerging threats, attack techniques, and security research.
Knowlegde, Skills And Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2+ Years’ experience in similar position. Relevant certifications such as OSCP, OSWE, CEH, PNPT, CREST, or similar are highly desirable. Strong understanding of common security vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10, MITRE ATT&CK framework, etc.) Expertise in penetration testing tools (e.g., Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, Nessus, Wireshark, Kali Linux, etc.) Familiarity with network protocols, web technologies, operating systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent report writing and communication abilities.
