Role & seniority: Experienced credit risk stress testing professional (5+ years); focus on IFRS 9 and regulatory stress testing.
Stack/tools: IFRS 9 PD/LGD/EAD models; stress testing under Pillar 1, IWST, SDST, ICAAP; Python, SQL, PySpark; reporting, UAT, governance/docs; cross-functional collaboration (Finance, Risk, Tech).
Execute stress testing under MAS/HKMA/regulatory frameworks; perform deep-dives, trend analyses, and prepare reports for management, board, and regulators.
Ensure regulatory compliance of models/frameworks; manage processes and respond to regulator inquiries.
Communicate methodologies, assumptions, and results to senior management and regulators; collaborate with Finance, Risk, Technology; drive process automation and improvements.
5+ years in finance/risk data analysis with IFRS 9 and stress testing model experience (PD/LGD/EAD).
Proficiency in Python, SQL, PySpark; strong quantitative and analytical ability.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in areas described above A strong background in finance, risk management, data analysis, quantitative analysis, or a related field University graduate or post-graduate with a major in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or other quantitative discipline Experience in developing and using IFRS 9 and stress testing models (PD, LGD, EAD) with an understanding of regulatory expectations under IFRS 9, MAS 637, and Basel standards Proficiency in statistical modelling tools and programming languages such as Python, SQL and Pyspark Strong quantitative and analytical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to interpret complex data and results Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly present complex findings to diverse audiences, including senior management and regulators Attention to detail, ability to work efficiently under deadlines, strong organizational skills and a strategic approach to model application Strong team player with a collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute across functions
