Role & seniority: Environmental Test Engineer (Vibration and TVAC); mid-level (3+ years) mechanical/aerospace testing.
Stack/tools: Mechanical/thermal-vacuum test equipment (electrodynamic shakers, TVAC chambers, thermal/vacuum systems, accelerometers, thermal sensors, data acquisition); software: LabVIEW, TestStand, MATLAB, Python (preferred).
Develop and execute test plans/procedures for vibration (sine, random, shock) and TVAC testing; ensure campaigns meet requirements.
Set up, calibrate, operate test equipment; monitor tests in real time; troubleshoot to complete campaigns.
Generate detailed test reports with data analysis, plots, and pass/fail criteria; coordinate fixtures and instrumentation; support root-cause investigations; ensure compliance with standards.
BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or related field).
3+ years in environmental testing (aerospace/defense preferred).
Hands-on experience with shakers, TVAC, accelerometers, thermal sensors, DAQ; instrumentation setup, calibration, data analysis.
Ability to work in cleanrooms, follow contamination control; strong communication and problem-solving.
Experience with LabVIEW, TestStand, MATLAB, Python for automation/data analysis.
Background supporting launch vehicle or satellite environmental qualification campaigns.
