As a Test Automation Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our software is robust, scalable, and built with quality at its core. You’ll be the go-to expert on testing within the project team, shaping the way we deliver reliable, intuitive technology that supports care professionals every day.

What You’ll Do

Take ownership of quality within the project team, advocating for robust, testable, and stable software
Design, implement, and maintain both manual and automated test scenarios, frameworks, and tools
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define and refine acceptance criteria and test plans
Execute manual and automated test suites, and perform exploratory and non-functional testing
Develop and extend test automation frameworks using Appium, and Typescript
Ensure high-quality reporting on test results, coverage, and defects
Test web applications and APIs using tools such as Postman and RestSharp
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and overall development quality
Collaborate with developers in maintaining high unit testing standards

What You’ll Bring

Strong experience in automated test development with Typescript
Previous Experience in mobile app automated testing (Appium highly desirable)
Proficiency with test tools such as MS Test, or XUnit
Deep understanding of test-driven development and full-stack test automation
Hands-on experience testing web applications and REST APIs
Familiarity with relational (SQL Server) and NoSQL database testing
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational and communication skills
(Desirable) Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Azure environments
A proactive mindset and passion for delivering high-quality software in a collaborative environment

A base salary of £35,000 - £45,000 and bonus depending on experience
