We are looking for a motivated Software Automation Intern to join our team and learn the ropes of software automation testing for iOS and macOS. As an automation engineer, you will work closely with our automation team, assisting in the development and execution of automated cases, prioritizing defects, and contributing to the overall quality of our software products.
DESCRIPTION
You will partner with a wide array of Apple software engineering teams, international software QA centers, translators, and project managers to ensure that Apple delivers outstanding software products to our international markets. Your role is to make sure Apple software products work flawlessly all over the world. The successful intern candidate will be working in a dynamic and strategic environment. The intern filling this position must be a hands-on, enthusiastic, self-motivated developer with strong initiative and a desire to succeed in a challenging environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education - Pursuing BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Informatics, or related fields. Knowledge of Objective-C or Swift programming language. Experience with software testing, including the ability to craft test requirements and translate them into practical automated tasks. Excellent debugging and critical thinking skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in XCTest automation for iOS and macOS applications. Experience in software localization/internationalization. Familiarity with Xcode and Apple's development ecosystem. Strong interest in Apple and its international users. Linguistics Experience with international text issues such as right-to-left layout and Unicode. Experience in application development for macOS or iOS Experience in LLMs
