Role & seniority: Staff Test Development Engineer, R&D Engineering – Test Development group, Debrecen, Hungary (full-time).
Stack/tools: hardware+software test development for NI products; measurement technology; analog and digital circuits; LabVIEW and TestStand (preferred); programming (Python, C/C++); NI product familiarity.
Develop test solutions (software + hardware) for new NI products; evaluate measurement coverage and reliability.
Troubleshoot and solve problems related to test development; understand circuitry and functionality of new products.
Collaborate with product developers and cross-functional teams; maintain proactive communication with internal stakeholders; support trial productions.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
3+ years in the electronics industry; knowledge of measurement technology; solid analog/digital circuit understanding.
Proficiency in English and Hungarian (professional working level); strong communication and teamwork; ability to prioritize/manage tasks.
Experience in hardware test development; LabVIEW and TestStand familiarity.
Programming knowledge (Python, C/C++); circuit design/build/troubleshooting.
Knowledge of NI products.
