Job Description
Our Testers work with project teams to ensure software quality through systematic test planning, execution, and defect tracking, ensuring functionality, performance, and reliability of applications before deployment. With deep knowledge of various types of applications, databases, and operating systems, they maintain high standards of product excellence and user satisfaction.
As a Test Automation Engineer at Endava, you will be in charge of building, developing, and implementing automated tests to assure the highest quality and confidence leading up to product release.
Analyze and review functional and technical requirements to develop detailed test plans and test cases. Design, develop, and execute automated and manual tests using industry-standard testing frameworks and tools. Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure software meets functional and non-functional requirements. Perform different types of testing to ensure software is thoroughly vetted before release. Identify, document, and track defects, working with development teams to resolve issues and retest as necessary. Provide feedback to improve test processes and contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines. Maintain and update automated test scripts based on evolving application functionality. Ensure timely delivery of test results and create comprehensive test reports.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in automation testing. Good understanding of software development lifecycle phases and QA processes within it. Proficient in C#, another progamming language is a plus. Work experience with some of the most used test automation tools and frameworks. Work experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps or similar CI tool. Work experience with bug tracking, test management, project management and version control systems. Experience with AWS, Azure or GSP is a plus. Proficiency in understanding software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (e.g., black-box testing, white-box testing, regression testing). Work experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment. Fluent (written and verbal) in Slovenian and advanced English speaking and writing abilities are required.
