Full Description
We are seeking an Semiconductor & MEMS inspection automation engineer to work with our Ion Trap fabrication team in Brooklyn Park, MN.
This person will help develop and mature our capability for visual inspection of ion traps. The key challenge is to determine requirements and build automated test and inspection capabilities that scale with our roadmap. \n
Key Responsibilities
- Develop automated analysis techniques and workflows to optimize throughput and reduce inspection time while accounting for scaling defined in our roadmap
- Work across the organization to develop requirements and limits for defects and inhomogeneities on surface ion traps
- Identify new tools and vendors to help mature and accelerate our test and inspection capabilities
- Work with the fabrication team to develop processes that reduce surface defects and improve overall manufacturability
You Must Have
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 3 years' experience working with IC and/or MEMS test and inspection with an emphasis on automated inspection of large die and characterization of surface defects and inhomogeneities
- Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person. defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status
- Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.
