Our team is searching for a Senior Test Engineer to join our Mixed-Signal and Linear group in PTC. As a Senior Test Engineer, you will be working with a team focused on developing test solutions for state-of-the-art technologies using various ATE equipment and coding test programs for use by our manufacturing teams in Thailand. Time is of the essence, but quality is always the priority. You will be working with design teams to define and develop optimized test solutions with equal balance of test cost and test coverage. You will also be working with offshore engineering counterparts to get this running in manufacturing. Responsibilities: Develop, recommend, and implement test methodologies on new and existing devices in the market. Design your own schematic and code the test programs for this hardware. A chance to work with the new product development team across the globe: marketing, applications, design, product engineering, manufacturing, etc. Support qualification, validation, and characterization of new devices coordinating with various groups from Rel to line sustaining. Support improvement projects to reduce test cost in manufacturing. The potential to travel abroad to work with our offshore counterparts when needed. Requirements/Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering, or Electrical Engineering major in Microelectronics. Master’s degree in the same field is an advantage. At least 6+ years working experience in product or test engineering and direct experience in semiconductor ATE testing. Good understanding of semiconductor test methodologies. Excellent analytical and debugging skills and the ability to proactively solve issues. Proven ability to learn and adapt to new methodologies and technologies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. Strong programming skills like VBA, C, C++. Hands On ATE knowledge like Teradyne J750, ETS88/ETS300, Credence/LTX a definite plus. Knowledge of semiconductor fundamentals and CMOS circuits.
