Role & seniority: Test Expert (mid–senior, near-site role) for European Institutions client, based in Warsaw
Stack/tools: Azure DevOps Test Plans; SQL querying; ServiceNow testing; test management tools; experience with complex systems and SDLC processes
Define testing strategy, plan test activities, and design test environments
Create, execute, and debug test cases and scripts; validate/testing completion; document outcomes
monitor test results, report progress/issues, track defects, and collaborate with analysis, architecture, development, and service desk teams
5+ years IT testing experience
Expertise across test types: unit, integration, functional, performance, stress, acceptance, regression
Hands-on with SQL and ServiceNow testing; experience setting up test environments and test management for new projects
Ability to lead testing in complex projects; strong documentation and communication; analytical, detail-oriented
ISTQB Advanced (or equivalent) certification, or 3+ years’ test management experience beyond minimum
Location & work type: Warsaw, Poland; near-site / hybrid work model (in-office plus remote) with international context

Responsible for testing strategy and planning test activities Develops test plan, test cases and designs testing environment Implements, executes and debugs application test cases and scripts Validate and document completion of testing and Development Interprets test results, reports on test progress and issues Analyses functional and technical system design for testability Contributes to quality assurance in the project Documents tests and tracks defects Monitors test results, Analyses quality of the system and reports on status and trends Cooperates with analysis, architects Software Development and service desk teams

Requirements
At least 5 years of IT experience in testing. Experience with testing using Azure Devops Test Plans. Hands-on experience with creating SQL queries. Hands-on experience with testing ServiceNow platform.
Skills & Knowledge
Expert in testing including unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, performance and stress testing, acceptance testing and regression testing. Expert in designing test environments. Hands on experience in testing complex systems up to the amount of years per profile requested at the "minimum experience at similar position". Experience in setting up test management tool for new project. Experience in providing test documentation. Experience in leading testing in complex project. Practical knowledge of testing tools. Analytical mind, attention to detail and an ability to pick things up quickly. Presents excellent communication and documentation skills. Knowledge of processes in Software Development Lifecycle.
Certifications
ISTQB Advanced or an equivalent certification recognized internationally (subject to acceptance as a valid credential by the Contracting Authority) Or 3 years of experience in test management above required Minimum experience at similar position
