Full Description

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to join our quality assurance team for a large-scale enterprise system in the banking domain.

Responsibilities

✅ Building end-to-end test scripts using Playwright (Node.js/TypeScript)

✅ Automating complex workflows like dynamic forms, multi-step approvals, and role-based access

✅ Executing tests across Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit browsers

✅ Integrating with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins)

✅ Generating clean, readable reports and dashboards

✅ (Optionally) Conducting Performance Testing using JMeter, Locust, or k6

🔧 Manual Testing

Perform UI, functional, integration, and regression testing Understand business/technical requirements and write effective test cases Validate form behaviors, user workflows, and business rules Log and track bugs using Jira

🧪 Automation Testing – Playwright

Create modular, reusable page objects and test utilities Convert manual test cases into automated scripts Use fixtures, before/after hooks, and custom assertions

🛠️ Must-Have Skills

Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript Experience with Playwright

Familiarity With

Postman, REST API testing, Playwright API, Playwright Script & Automation JMeter or performance testing basics Good verbal & written communication skills

🔍 Bonus Skills (Good to Have)

Exposure to Selenium or Cypress Knowledge of Docker and testing in containerized environments Experience in banking, fintech, or enterprise-scale applications
