The Headphones and Accessories Quality Engineering team is looking for a motivated Tools & Automation Engineer to design, implement, test and maintain next generation audio and connectivity solutions. You're creating and delivering world changing experiences on the very latest Apple products.

DESCRIPTION

Build creative solutions for testing current and next generation products. Drive quality and champion bug fixes, working closely with dev team and analyze the root causes for the issues. Design comprehensive test plans for new features, factoring in technical details and the customer experience. Develop test automation scripts using Python, maintain reports of all automation issues and test results. Collaborate with cross functional teams to get requirements and implement automation feature requests. Bring up, perform regular maintenance and debugging of test setups and scripts.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

B. S. or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Audio Engineering,

  • Electrical Engineering or AI/ML. Expertise in audio testing, software testing,
  • isolating issues, devising test plans, aiming to specification. You're
  • proficient in a coding language (Python, Java, Objective C, C++, etc). You have
  • 1-2 years experience working in similar field. You're experienced deploying
  • testing at scale.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

You have a foundational understanding of electronics and wireless technologies. You have the capacity to dive deep technically, learn new technologies, and understand the technical details of an accessory or product system. You have the ability to analyze and distill meaningful insight from large data and make quantitative assessments. You have the ability to efficiently articulate key points or risks to non-technical audiences. You have excellent communication skills and effective at building relationships to collaborate and influence projects. You're obsessively passionate and inquisitive, and seek to pursue everyday problems in innovative ways. You have an understanding and educational background in AI/ML.
