Primary Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and enhance automated testing scripts for web and software applications. Execute automated test cases and analyze results to ensure application quality. Collaborate with development teams to ensure code quality and resolve defects. Apply exception handling, debugging, and coding best practices in test automation. Work with BDD Cucumber framework to design behavior-driven test scenarios. Utilize Playwright for end-to-end automation testing. Participate in Agile sprints, manage backlogs, and provide timely feedback on testing progress. Monitor and maintain automation frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage. Track and report bugs using Jira, following the full bug life cycle. Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. Continuously upskill in new technologies, tools, and frameworks as required. Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, contributing effectively to team discussions and collaboration. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong programming skills in Java (intermediate to expert level). Basics of JavaScript with the ability and willingness to upskill as needed. Hands-on experience in BDD Cucumber framework. Hands-on experience with Playwright for test automation. Solid understanding of exception handling, debugging, and coding standards. Experience in Agile development environments and sprint-based workflows. Familiarity with Jira and the bug life cycle. Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
