Role & seniority: Senior Automation Engineer
Location & work type: Location not specified; travel 50-90% for system commissioning; full-time; on-site/client sites as needed
Stack/tools: Process control, Rockwell PlantPAx; PLCs; SCADA/Operator Interfaces; drive systems; robotics; vision systems; hardware/software specification; design and commissioning
Execute automation projects per customer specs; handle estimating, design reviews, programming, installation and commissioning support
Specify control systems hardware/software; solve problems; mentor and guide others
Interface with engineers, project managers, electricians, vendors, customers, and leadership; maintain customer relationships to drive repeat business
10+ years in the automation field; extensive process control experience; Rockwell PlantPAx preferred
Deep knowledge of control system design, machine safety, PLCs, SCADA
Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and independent/team work ability
Excellent communication and customer-service orientation; safe work attitude
Experience with drive systems, robotics, and/or vision systems
Mentorship/leadership experience; continuous learning mindset
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
Positive attitude toward safety and personal integrity
