We are looking for a Mainframe QA Engineer to join our team and ensure the quality and reliability of mainframe-based applications. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in mainframe testing and will work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders in an international environment. Proficiency in French is required, as part of the role involves collaboration with French-speaking clients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test cases for mainframe applications
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing
• Analyze business and technical requirements to ensure adequate test coverage
• Validate data processing, batch jobs, and online transactions
• Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools
• Collaborate with development teams to reproduce and resolve issues
• Participate in test planning, test estimation, and test reporting activities
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices
• Communicate effectively with French-speaking stakeholders regarding testing activities and results

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or Tester in Mainframe environments
• Strong knowledge of mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM
• Experience with batch and online testing
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and QA processes
• Experience working with test management and defect tracking tools
• Ability to analyze data and logs from mainframe systems
• Fluent or advanced level of English
• Good command of French (written and spoken)
