Role & seniority: Lead Analyst / Test Lead – Quality Engineer (Senior QE); 8–12 years experience depending on track.
Stack / tools: ETL testing automation; API and UI test automation (Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, Karate); agile delivery; basic Mainframe and DB testing (nice-to-have); defect tracking and test planning.
Design, develop, and maintain automated UI and API tests for web applications; build in-sprint automation coverage.
Develop and manage test plans, regression suites, traceability, and validate acceptance criteria (BDD alignment).
Investigate failures, reproduce prod defects in lower environments, log defects, and coordinate with onshore/offshore teams to drive resolution; automate repetitive validation tasks.
Agile mindset with experience in Scaled Agile delivery (DS/SAFe-like ceremonies).
Strong automation capabilities for UI and API tests; ETL automation testing.
Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, and Karate; test planning and defect management.
Ability to work with Dev team, perform in-sprint testing, and create reliable test scripts.
Mainframe testing knowledge.
Database testing experience.

Replicate prod defects in the lower environments, log defects in defect management system for resolution. Provide issue walkthroughs to the developers or software engineers.
