VDC Quality Assurance/Database Management
Position Overview We are looking for a VDC Quality Assurance/Database Management specialist to ensure the integrity and accuracy of our virtual design and construction data. This role is pivotal in maintaining our database systems, performing quality control checks, and supporting project coordination efforts to drive efficiency and effectiveness in our construction processes.
Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain the database systems related to virtual design and construction projects. Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Utilize CAD software to assist with design reviews and data integration. Perform data analysis to identify trends and issues impacting project delivery. Oversee inventory management processes to ensure all project materials are accounted for and up to date. Coordinate with project teams to ensure quality control measures are implemented effectively. Develop and maintain technical documentation related to database management and quality assurance processes. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to report on data integrity and quality assurance findings. Qualifications Experience as a pipefitter or Mechanical Designer is required. Proven experience in database management and quality assurance within the construction industry. Proficiency in Stratus, Revit, and more design type software. Strong analytical skills and experience in data analysis and reporting. Familiarity with inventory management practices and tools.
