About the Role Intervest Software Technologies is seeking UAT Test Analysts to join our growing team. This role requires alignment to UK Business hours.

Key Responsibilities

Test Case Design and Execution

• Able to Design, develop, document end-to-end user test cases. Execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and specifications.
• Perform UAT testing across multiple platforms (mobile web and desktop).

Requirements Analysis

• Able to collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners to understand the Business Requirements.
• Can review and analyse requirements to interpret these into end-user journeys. Input into comprehensive test plans.
• Champion adherence to regulatory requirements, organizational policies, and industry best practices (GDPR, Consumer Duty and PCI Compliance)

Defect Identification and Reporting

• Accurately identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Work closely with the development team to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
• Passionate about ensuring product quality and the importance of UAT in product development.

Communication and Collaboration

• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to provide clear and concise updates regarding the test progress, issues and risks are well understood.
• Confident to collaborate with assurance test leads, developers, product owners, scrum masters, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, explain complex issues and ensure effective test coverage for the end-user.

Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed documentation of test results, defect reports, and testing processes. Able to provide test execution and progress reports to squad team members.

Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 01 year of experience in manual testing of software applications. Strong knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, tools and processes. Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) and STLC (Software Testing Lifecycle). Experience with UAT test case design techniques and execution. Able to follow smart testing techniques such as exploratory and risk-based testing. Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, XRay). Ability to write clear and concise defect reports. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results. Practical knowledge of Agile/Scrum Methodologies. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proactively participate in Sprint Ceremonies. Openness to learning new things and a growth mindset. Ideal candidate will have knowledge of Insurance domain.
