As a Lead QA Engineer, you will drive the quality strategy for the Statements application, leading testing processes, automation, and collaboration across teams to ensure reliable, high‑quality releases. -> You love this job but feel you cannot tick 100% of the boxes? Send us your CV anyway! Your key responsibilities Define and drive QA processes. Work with the development team to establish quality requirements and set up an effective, scalable testing process. Design test coverage. Create and maintain functional, regression, and integration test cases to ensure high product reliability. Lead test automation. Oversee, create, maintain, and execute automated test suites, ensuring they remain stable and relevant as the system evolves. Manage test issues and risks. Track defects, assess risks, and provide clear reporting for compliance and audit needs. Maintain test environments. Ensure environments are available, up‑to‑date, and aligned with testing needs. Contribute to releases and improvements. Work closely with the development team on release management and continuous process improvement. Your skills and experiences Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance, ideally in complex backend or financial systems Hands‑on experience with test automation frameworks and building or maintaining automated test suites Strong UNIX/Linux and Bash skills for test execution, environment checks, and troubleshooting Practical experience with Java; Kotlin is a strong plus Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and test analysis Solid understanding of software development and testing processes, including CI/CD and release pipelines Good written and spoken English; German is an advantage What we offer We provide you with a comprehensive portfolio of benefits and offerings to support both, your private and professional needs.
