Role & seniority: Quality Engineer (senior IC) focused on supplier quality and process compliance within RF360/Qualcomm.
Stack/tools: ISO 9001 internal auditing; IATF16949 (advantage); SPC/Cpk monitoring; 8D problem solving; supplier audits and ratings; quality systems and material compliance; cross-functional collaboration with TD and sourcing; data analysis and statistics.
Lead continuous improvement to enhance supplier quality; define and manage supplier roadmaps and certifications.
Conduct supplier audits, assess quality/technical issues, manage supplier claims (8D) and establish SPC/Cpk monitoring.
Influence supplier selection/qualification for new materials/technology; co-own material selection specifications with TD and sourcing; qualify 2nd sources.
Must-have skills: Engineering degree (Mechanical/Materials/Chemical or related); strong statistics and materials analysis knowledge; experience with quality systems and supplier quality; strong communication and teamwork; ability to travel 10-20%.
Nice-to-haves: Certifications in ISO 9001 internal auditing and IATF16949 or equivalent; experience in materials engineering or supplier development.
Location & work type: Singapore (RF360 Singapore Pte., Ltd.); on-site with travel obligations; full-time engineering role.
