Military Fellowship Program partners with programs such as SkillBridge and Hiring Our Heroes to provide fellowship opportunities to service members transitioning to the civilian workforce. These fellowships include up to six months of on-the-job industry training for eligible service members. During this time, participants gain valuable work experience in the civilian sector and build professional networks as they prepare for their transition to full-time civilian work. NOTE: You must be currently serving on active duty to be eligible for this fellowship program. This program is not for veterans who have already separated from the military. The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber. Qualifications You Must Have: Currently Serving as ACTIVE DUTY military and be eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering or other related discipline and typically 6 or more years of experience Higher education may substitute for relevant experience Knowledge of engineering principles and practices Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams Knowledge of requirements management, system design, and systems integration Experience with planning, conducting and documenting Verification and Validation (V&V) activities Qualifications We Prefer: Experience with various testing equipment, standards, and methodologies to include manual and automated testing Ability to prepare complex and professional test plans, test procedures, and test reports in order to demonstrate compliance to system requirements Familiarity with Product and Quality Assurance principles and experienced in generation and disposition of product non-conformances Experience performing certification testing for various certification organizations (i.e. FAA, NASA, DoD) Ability to read schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and use logical trouble shooting techniques Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry This posting will be open for application for a minimum of 5 days and may be extended based on business needs.
