Stack/tools: manual and automated testing; test plans/reports; bug reporting; automated test tools; familiarity with embedded firmware, IP cameras, cloud storage; data communications, networking, and protocols
Execute manual and automated tests based on customer requirements
Write clear bug reports and assist development teams with troubleshooting
Analyze defects, verify fixes, and develop/maintain automated test tools; create test plans and test reports
Attention to detail and technical curiosity
Experience executing moderate to complex test cases
Strong written and oral communication
Software test development, programming or scripting experience
Knowledge of data communication, networking, and protocols; able to work independently and in a team
Experience with embedded firmware or home-automation/product ecosystems

Location: Arlo Office, Canada Arlo is looking for a top student with strong interest in product testing a complex product that includes multiple clients, embedded firmware, and cloud storage. The Software Test team is responsible for validation and quality assurance of new products, new technologies, and new features. Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada. The pay range for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries at commencement of employment and is expected to be between CAD$3,700 - $4,000/month. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including role, job-related knowledge, skills, relevant education and experience.
