Role & seniority: Internship for a student; Testing-focused role supporting automated and API/HMI testing efforts (Airbus UpNext Optimate demonstrator).
Stack/tools: API testing (Postman), Gherkin, JavaScript, Playwright; test automation and test design environments; collaboration with V&V and dev teams.
Industrialize the existing automated test prototype and design/execute new feature test plans.
Test and manipulate APIs (Postman); update test scenarios in Gherkin; maintain automated tests in current platforms.

Studies in Computer Science or related field.
Experience with Postman, Gherkin; programming in JavaScript (and Playwright or similar).

Job Description: The Airbus UpNext Optimate demonstrator will pave the way to smart automation capabilities by integration of new innovative bricks including computer vision and data fusion. The goal is to help the pilots and facilitate the mission. We are looking for un intern ASAP to be a part of our team and to deal with Automatic tests industrialization topics. The end of the intership is end of September 2026 ( the deadline of the demo) Mission You will be involved in the entire testing lifecycle, from design to automation, with a focus on API and HMI testing. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include: Industrialised the automatisation test prototype already developed Support the team on designing and executing the new features tests plans, and updates current automated test plans Test and manipulate APIs to ensure their proper functioning (Postman) Update test scenarios in Gherkin according to bugs fixing, changes and new features Update automate tests inside existing tests platforms Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve anomalies Collaborate with the V&V team, and the functions owners Track anomalies and suggest improvements Support the knowledge management owners in order to build the accurate documentation for testing transfer knowledge You are passionate about aeronautics, motivated by the challenge and ready to constantly learn and to develop yourself and the others, this project could be yours too.
