Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automation QA Engineer to design and implement automated testing solutions to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements, create test cases, and develop and maintain automation scripts to enhance our CI/CD pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web/mobile applications, APIs, and backend services.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and identify test scenarios.
Maintain and improve existing test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, etc.).
Perform exploratory and regression testing as needed.
Document test plans, test results, and defects in bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).
Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospective meetings as part of an Agile team.
Ensure proper version control and documentation of test cases and test results.

Requirements

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s of Engineering, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in QA with a focus on test automation.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.).
Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.).
Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
