Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA / QA Lead to oversee Inside Plant (ISP) quality assurance operations within a high-performance data center environment. This role ensures that fiber installations, documentation, and construction practices meet rigorous standards for reliability, scalability, and compliance. You will lead daily audits, train teams on best practices, and manage project documentation using ACC software.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct daily QA audits of fiber installations, routing, labeling, and termination within the ISP environment

Utilize ACC (Advanced Construction Controls) software for real-time documentation, issue tracking, and project updates

Summary of Position

The QA/QC Coordinator will create, supervise and maintain quality management policies and procedures by project standard requirements. The QA / QC Coordinator will ensure the adherence to project specific specs and assist in coordinating the daily operational activities, to maintain and develop agreed organizational performance plans within agreed budgets.

Duties And Responsibilities

Monitors in-house installation teams as well as subcontract actions for contract compliance, monitors risk and contributes suggestions for risk mitigation

Facilitates a culture of continuous process improvement among management team, providing resources and collaborating to implement processes that are streamlined and compliant

Document control including document management systems

Prepare QA plans for various field construction activities

Conduct quality assurance inspections

Perform quality audits of on-site construction activities

Safety training was required by position

Paperwork filing and maintenance as needed

Essential Education And Qualifications

Able to communicate technical information to field personnel as well as management

Must have good verbal and written communication skills

Technical efficiency & knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Preferred Skills

Prior experience in QA/QC

Prior working experience in telecommunications industry
