Systems Test Engineer Maidenhead | On-site | Up to £50,000

This role is about proving complete systems, not just components.

You’ll join a growing engineering business developing wireless communication and safety systems used across high-risk industrial environments. As part of a newly formed systems test team, you’ll take ownership of how products are tested at system level. From integration through to customer-ready deployment.

A major focus will be a new proximity detection solution designed to actively prevent injury by shutting down hazardous machinery. It’s a complex, RF-driven product where testing matters as much as design.

What you’ll be responsible for Defining and executing system-level test strategies Developing test plans and cases for new products and releases Integrating hardware and software as configured for customers Executing system, integration and regression test campaigns

This is a hands-on role with real influence. Particularly as the team and product portfolio expand.

The kind of experience that fits well System testing of RF-based products or platforms Hardware / software integration testing (Embedded/Firmware) Structured system or acceptance testing approaches Working with issue tracking tools (e.g. Jira) Comfort working close to engineering and customers

For one of the two roles, Mandarin language skills are highly desirable due to international collaboration and customer sites in China. For candidates with Mandarin, flexibility exists around exact technical background.
