Top 3 responsibilities

  1. Understand vehicle configurations and system architecture; drive requirements and verification for All Up Round missile configurations.

  2. Coordinate across multi-organizational teams to deliver integrated Weapon System and Flight System test solutions; define acceptance tests.

  3. Support testing onsite (Deer Creek Lab) and at production facility in Alabama; drive continuous process/design improvements through ERB/CCB.

  • Must-have skills: Electrical/test integration experience; troubleshooting electrical or networking test issues; experience with telemetry data streams; ability to work in a fast-paced technical environment; scripting in Python/MatLab.

  • Nice-to-haves: Experience with EGSE (design/build/use); familiarity with Automation Framework or LM test processes/tools; electrical integrator background; Certified Test Conductor (CTC), Responsible Systems Engineer (RSE), or Certified Product Engineer (CPE).

  • Location & work type: Littleton, Colorado. Onsite full-time work with potential remote work eligibility noted; primary onsite requirement at LM facility.

The CPS Theater Strike Weapon Systems (TSWS) team in Littleton, Colorado is in search of a Systems Engineer

As a Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development of these advanced systems.

In This Role, You Will

Work on a Flight Systems engineering team working All Up Round (AUR) missile configurations Understand vehicle configurations, system architecture, and drive meaningful requirements and verification efforts Coordinate and communicate across multiorganizational teams to bring an integrated Weapon System and Flight System test solution Drive acceptance test definition, derive test requirements, and establish testing architecture Support testing activities onsite in Deer Creek Lab, as well as at production facility in Alabama Drive continuous process and design improvements by applying corrective actions and driving changes through Engineering Review Board (ERB) and Change Control Board (CCB)
