Top 3 responsibilities

  • Manually test SharkNinja products and connected systems; develop new test protocols and cases.

  • Document results, defects, progress, blockers; communicate with the manual testing team.

  • Work cross-functionally to understand product systems; participate in sprints, reviews, and daily standups; assist in troubleshooting test units/field returns.

Must-have skills

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program; 40-hour workweek with at least 3 onsite days/week in Needham, MA.

  • Coursework in electrical/mechanical engineering, computer science, or robotics; robotics hardware experience (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, IR/Lidar); firmware product experience.

  • Knowledge of SDLC/STLC; experience with Jira; programming/scripting in C++, Python, or TTL; familiarity with CSQE Body of Knowledge.

Nice-to-haves

  • Deeper CSQE topic familiarity; experience creating/testing protocols for real-world environments; exposure to testing field returns and cross-functional documentation.

Location & Schedule: This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite in Needham, MA with the remaining days worked remotely. There is no relocation or housing assistance for this position.

This role: As a valued member of our Quality Assurance team, you'll gain hands-on experience testing real products and connected systems that make everyday life easier for millions of consumers. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to execute manual test cases, analyze performance, and contribute to the creation of tools and processes that uphold our commitment to excellence.

Here are some of the EXCITING things you’ll get to do

  • Assist in manually testing a variety of SharkNinja products, applying empathy for the consumer
  • Assist in the development of new testing protocols and test cases based on product requirements, new features, and challenging real-world environments
  • Document results and create thorough documentation of defects
  • Clearly communicate progress, blockers, and discovered issues to the wider manual testing team
  • Work cross-functionally to build an understanding of all aspects of the product system
  • Provide input/feedback on how to continually improve process within the team
  • Help other teams to troubleshoot issues with test units or field returns
  • Participate in reviews of product and software requirements
  • Participate in project sprints and daily standups to report progress and identify issues
  • Follow defined system testing practices and procedures
